iRide Driver Agreement

This Driver Agreement ("Agreement") is a binding contract between you ("Driver") and iRide ("Company"), governing your use of the iRide car-hailing platform to offer ride-hailing services. By registering as a driver on the iRide platform, you agree to the following terms and conditions:

1. Eligibility and Registration

1.1 Eligibility:

To register as an iRide driver, you must:

• Be at least 18 years old.
• Possess a valid driving license issued by the Government of Pakistan.
• Own or have access to a vehicle in good working condition with all required legal documentation (e.g., registration).
• Authorization letter is required if your not owner of the vehicle.

1.2 Account Setup:

You must provide accurate personal and vehicle information during registration, including:

• Government-issued ID.
• Valid vehicle documents.
• Bank account or mobile wallet details for payments.
• Subscription Payments.

1.3 Verification:

You agree to undergo a background check and provide any additional information or documentation requested by iRide. Failure to meet these requirements will result in rejection or suspension of your driver account.

2. Driver Responsibilities

2.1 Professional Conduct:

Drivers must:

• Behave respectfully toward riders and adhere to a professional code of conduct.
• Ensure the safety of passengers during the ride.
• Comply with all traffic laws and regulations.

2.2 Vehicle Maintenance:

Drivers are responsible for ensuring their vehicle is clean, roadworthy, and equipped with all legally required safety features.

2.3 Ride Acceptance:

You agree to accept and complete ride requests promptly. Cancelling rides without valid reasons may result in penalties or account suspension.

2.4 Payment Collection:

• Drivers can accept payments in cash or through electronic transfers initiated by the rider.
• For electronic payments, drivers must provide their banking or mobile wallet information to the rider at the end of the trip.

3. Earnings and Fees

3.1 Driver Earnings:

Drivers retain 100% of the fare collected from riders. iRide does not deduct commissions but may charge a monthly subscription fee for platform access.

3.2 Subscription Fees:

Drivers are required to pay a monthly fee to maintain access to the iRide platform. Failure to pay the fee may result in account suspension.

3.3 Refunds and Disputes:

Any disputes regarding payments or fares must be reported to iRide within 7 days. iRide will mediate disputes, but final responsibility for cash or electronic payment rests with the driver and rider.

4. Location Tracking

4.1 Location Sharing:

By using the iRide app, you agree to share your real-time location with the platform and riders for:

• Ride matching and navigation.
• Safety and compliance monitoring.

4.2 Data Privacy:

Location data is handled in accordance with applicable privacy laws and is used solely for service-related purposes. For more information, refer to the [Privacy Policy].

5. Driver Conduct and Prohibited Activities

Drivers must not:

• Engage in illegal or fraudulent activities while using the platform.
• Harass, threaten, or harm riders or other users.
• Refuse service based on discrimination of any kind (e.g., race, gender, religion).

Failure to adhere to these standards may result in immediate suspension or termination of your driver account.

6. Limitation of Liability

iRide is a technology platform that connects drivers with riders. iRide is not responsible for:

• Any loss, damage, or theft occurring during rides.
• Legal or financial liabilities arising from traffic violations or accidents.

Drivers assume full responsibility for their actions and compliance with local laws while providing services through the platform.

7. Updates and Modifications

iRide reserves the right to update this Agreement at any time. Drivers will be notified of changes, and continued use of the platform constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

8. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

This Agreement is governed by the laws of Pakistan. Any disputes arising from this Agreement shall be resolved in the courts of Lahore, Pakistan.

9. Acknowledgment and Acceptance

By signing up as a driver on the iRide platform, you acknowledge and agree that:

• You will adhere to all terms outlined in this Agreement.
• You authorize iRide to track your location for operational purposes.
• You have read and understood this Agreement in full.
