Eligibility, Registration, and Verification
1. Eligibility:
Riders must be at least 18 years of age.
Drivers must hold a valid driver’s license, vehicle registration, and insurance coverage as
required under applicable laws.
Both riders and drivers must meet the platform’s eligibility criteria for verification.
2. Registration:
To use the Services, all users must create an iRide account by providing accurate, current,
and complete information during registration.
Drivers must upload documentation, including a valid driver’s license, proof of insurance,
and vehicle registration.
3. Verification:
iRide may conduct identity verification, driving history checks, and vehicle inspections
where applicable.
iRide reserves the right to deny access to users who do not meet the platform’s standards.
SMS Communications and Consent
1. Purpose of SMS Communication:
By signing up for the iRide app, you agree to receive SMS messages for account-related purposes. These messages may include:
One-Time Passwords (OTPs) for account verification.
Notifications related to your bookings, ride status, and updates about the iRide platform.
2. Use of OTPs:
OTPs are sent to ensure the security and verification of your account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of the OTP and should not share it with anyone.
iRide will never request your OTP for any purpose other than secure login or verification.
3. Opting Out of SMS Communication:
You may opt out of receiving SMS messages at any time by replying "STOP" to the SMS or contacting iRide support.
Please note that opting out may limit your ability to use certain features of the app, including account login and booking confirmations.
4. Accuracy of Contact Information:
Users are responsible for providing a valid and accurate phone number during registration. Failure to do so may result in the inability to access or use the Services.
5. SMS Charges:
Standard messaging and data rates may apply for receiving SMS messages. Users are responsible for any charges incurred from their mobile service providers.
Booking and Payment
1. Booking Process:
Riders can request rides through the iRide app by entering their pickup and destination
details.
The platform will connect riders with the nearest available driver.
2. Payment Options:
Payments can be made either in cash or electronically using JazzCash, SadaPay,
debit/credit cards, or other supported methods.
For electronic payments, riders are responsible for manually transferring funds to the
drivers banking details after the ride.
The driver’s banking information is not displayed on the app; riders must request the
necessary details from the driver.
3. Receipts and Charges:
Riders will receive a digital receipt detailing trip charges, including base fare, distance,
time, and applicable taxes.
iRide reserves the right to update pricing and fare structures without prior notice.
Driver and Rider Responsibilities
1. Riders:
Must provide accurate and complete pickup and destination details.
Agree to be present at the designated location on time and adhere to the driver's
instructions for safe travel.
Must treat drivers and their vehicles with respect and care.
2. Drivers:
Must ensure their vehicles are safe, clean, and roadworthy at all times.
Must provide professional and courteous service to riders.
Agree to comply with all traffic laws, maintain valid documentation, and use the platform
only for approved purposes.
Cancellations and Refunds
1. Cancellations by Riders:
Riders can cancel a booking prior to the driver’s arrival, subject to applicable cancellation
fees if the cancellation occurs after a set grace period.
2. Cancellations by Drivers:
Drivers may cancel a ride only in unavoidable circumstances, such as emergencies or rider
no-shows.
3. Refund Policy:
Refunds for cancelled rides will be processed in accordance with iRide’s policies.
Prohibited Activities
Users are prohibited from:
Using the Services for illegal or unauthorized purposes.
Misrepresenting information during booking or registration.
Harassing or discriminating against other users.
Failing to pay for completed rides.
Using the platform to facilitate off-platform transactions, bypassing iRide's payment
system.
Liability and Disclaimer
1. Driver Responsibility:
Drivers are responsible for maintaining appropriate insurance coverage for their vehicles
and passengers.
2. Platform Limitation:
iRide acts as an intermediary between riders and drivers and is not liable for accidents,
disputes, or delays caused by either party.
3. Disclaimer:
iRide provides the Services as is; without any express or implied warranties.
Dispute Resolution
1. Disputes arising from the use of the Services will be resolved under the laws of Pakistan.
2. Mandatory arbitration will apply to unresolved disputes between users or between users
and iRide.

iRide reserves the right to suspend or terminate user accounts for violations of these terms,
fraudulent activities, or any conduct deemed harmful to the platform or its users.
